It’s nice to know other people do this: “I took half of a very strong tranquilizer that I’d been stashing for years in case of a death in the family.” I also find myself stashing pills that I might need for later. It’s just good planning and the worse case scenario is they either don’t work anymore OR (even better) they get stronger!

We were watching Badlands last night because I’ve never seen it. Yes, it was one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen. Did I walk away with an overall message? Yes. I think I saw cellulite on Sissy Spacek’s ass and oh my god I got so excited.

I stood outside on the steps to listen with a whole crowd full of people and after he swore to protect our nation from all enemies, domestic and foreign, the bells sounded. And it was beautiful. A whole great, big, wide, blue, sunny day filled with the sounds of rejoicing while he delivered his speech.
